IN OTHER WORDS
Known by his peers as the “keg on legs”, Mick Lowe and pure power surfing are one and the same. And although it’s difficult to imagine the Dream Tour without Mick Lowe, his phenomenal professional career was almost not to be. After finishing near the top end of his state of NSW, Australia in his end of school exams he was bordering on pursuing an academic career. Lucky for us he opted to swan around the world and tackle the best waves the planet can serve up and fight it out amongst the best of the best. The feisty goofy can never be doubted and while he hasn’t pushed toward the front end of events for a while we believe that the fire within Lowe is burning and 2007 could once again see him return to the winners podium. Having no fear in anything of any size, watch him go at the hairier venues like Pipeline and Teahupoo.
